Honorary guest from Etugen Institute, Mongolia

On monday November 24th 2014, the School of Nursing UGM received two honorary guests from Etugen institute, Mongolia. They are Dr Batsaradenee (The Director as well as the owner of the Institute) and Ms. Burmaa who acts as the Public Relations of the institution.

The main purpose of the visit is initiating the collaboration between 2 institutions. Etugen institute is one of the public institutions in Mongolia. It is located at the heart of Mongolia' capital city with 3500 students. It has 2 majoring: economic and business as well as health faculty. It is built in 2002 and since then it has been producing many qualified nurses.

In the discussion together with the vice director SON UGM, Mrs Intansari Nurjannah, PhD and the manager of international collaboration, Mrs. Martina Sinta Kristanti, there were some agreements in the area of join teaching (through teleconference) and join electronic international journal. Those activities will become the initiation activities to test the effectivity of the program then may scale up into a more diverse collaborations.

During the visit, the delegates also managed for having a guest lectures for students. With the topic 'Mongolia: its culture and the students life', the delegates impressed the students with the movie and question and answer session.
